Ballet

Fellowship School of Creative Arts uses Vaganova-based sequential curriculum. Each level builds fundamental skills, placement, steps and etiquette. Each level builds on the previous level and is designed to be taken for at least two years, unless a student is promoted sooner by an instructor and the director.

Faculty placement is required for all students prior to enrollment. Decisions of placement depend on a student’s physical/emotional maturity as well as skill level. Students in Creative Movement, Intro to Ballet 1-3, and Ballet 1 must be the appropriate age by August 4, 2025.

    — ABOUT CHARACTER —

    Character dance is a traditional style of folk dancing which holds a great deal of cultural significance. It is important for dancers to familiarize themselves with character dance to further develop their dance technique and extend their range as an artist. In this class, we will focus on musicality, coordination, and acting as we explore the styles of Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Polish folk dance.

Upper School Pointe

  • Meets for thirty minutes, once a week.

  • Meets for forty-five minutes, twice a week.

Tuition & Fees

Fellowship School of Creative Arts is committed to keeping tuition and fees as reasonable as possible.  Tuition & Fees listed here are for the 2025-2026 school year session only. Tuition is for 38 weeks (August 4-May 30).

Dress Code

A dancer’s attire greatly determines the attitude toward her/his class work. Therefore, we require that the standard of appropriate neatness be observed at all times.
